| CED stereo is much more like Laserdisc analog audio than FM stereo - it has a second modulated FM carrier and a CX decoder. With boardcast FM left and right are multiplexed into one signal. |

| I've actually got that for Laserdiscs (using a much cheaper PCI capture card), and I'm pretty sure if I got a similar sample (or a suitably tapped CED player and disks) I could hack up the same for it ... |

And no ESD protection on the RCA jacks? Blah. |

I'd need to see a PAL player service manual, but I suspect the video FM modulation frequency is different.
In addition the color subcarrier is remodulated, and that is also likely different for PAL C ... |
