Hello everyone! This is the announcement of the 2026 CED Workshop. It will be held at the IVY Tech Community College Plainfield Satellite Location at 1610 Reeves Road in Plainfield, IN 46168 on June 27th, 2026 at 10am. It is a free event, everyone is welcome to attend. CEDatum will be on site with parts available for purchase. If any special requests need to be made please don't hesitate to email me at videodiscjunkie@gmail.com and I look forward to seeing you all there.

Beverages will be provided, we will have a break for lunch around noonish and there are several restaurants within a 10 minute drive. Additionally we have access to a refrigerator so if you want to bring a lunch we can accommodate that as well.

For those planning to spend the night, there are a dozen different hotels within a 10 minute drive, I will be staying at The Hampton Inn, I have heard of others staying at the Holiday Inn Express as well. The Hampton Inn is located at, 2244 Perry Rd, Plainfield, IN 46168

Will there ever be a Selectavision workshop somewhere in the western region of the United States Of America?



My RCA Selectavision video disc player has been malfunctioning for the last three years, but these workshops in the Midwest are impossible for me to come to, and I don't know any one at all in that part of the nation.

The workshop is in Indianapolis because it's a fairly central location within the United States based on population. There really aren't a lot of people out west other than California. Jesse Skeen has been wanting to do a workshop out that way for many years. You might want to get in touch with him about hosting one together. You could contact Tom Howe as well about maybe hosting a workshop out that way. Those are really the only two other members who I know of out there. I would be happy to advertise it for you. It would be doubtful that I would be able to attend an event out that way, but happy to help in any way that I can.
