This may sound odd; but, my Sears player (934.54810350) has problem with its video jack. Some time ago I had an A/V cable plugged into the 3 jacks on the back of the player. I forgot about the cables and picked up the player to move it. In the process, I stepped on the video cable causing the cable to break off. The center of the video cable snapped off in the female jack of the player thus rendering the jack unusable.

I have tried to remove the center pin from the jack using tweezers and dental picks with no success. I removed the screws from the player's top and lifted it up to look at the jacks. They are almost impossible to get at from the top. I have thought of applying a small drop of super glue to the head of a pin and inserting the pin into the jack to glue the pin to the stuck center pin.

Has anyone any other suggestions? I have considered removing the bottom of the player; but, I am not certain if doing so would cause any more problems.

Try to drill it out with a small drill. This will relieve the pressure on the female part of the jack. If it still won't come out try a screw extractor.
